ABOUT LUMOS

A new name on top of a proven foundation.

Lumos Insurance builds on the 45-year legacy of The Plateau Group—pairing carrier discipline with a renewed focus on modern distribution, data, and partner experience.

Built to bring more clarity and confidence to distribution.

For decades, The Plateau Group has supported banks, credit unions, dealers, MGAs, and specialty partners across the U.S. Lumos Insurance is the next chapter: a modern brand and platform direction built on the same disciplined foundation.

Important: Lumos Insurance is an assumed brand name. Insurance products are underwritten by the licensed entities Plateau Insurance Company and Plateau Casualty Insurance Company. Availability varies by state.
